AYC Fund Mission

The mission of the AYC Fund is to teach competitive sailing, develop amateur athletes for national and international sailing competitions, develop sailing judges, race officials, instructors and coaches, and foster national and international sailing competition in the Austin area.

AYC Fund Guiding Principles and FAQs

Over the years, the Fund has established a practice of spending roughly half of annual donations received on grants, and saving half, with the objective of the fund being capable of financing future grants with fund income.

Spotlight: Grants and Contributions

In 2018, the AYC Fund sponsored the team of Scott Young, John Morran, and Doug Kern to represent AYC in the New York Invitational Cup Regatta

The AYC Fund provided funds to support Ethan Froelich’s participation as the qualifying US representative in the men’s I-420 at the 2019 Hempel Youth World Championship in Poland.
