AYC Fund

AYC Fund Mission

The mission of the AYC Fund is to teach competitive sailing, develop amateur athletes for national and international sailing competitions, develop sailing judges, race officials, instructors and coaches, and foster national and international sailing competition in the Austin area.

AYC Fund Guiding Principles

Over the years, the Fund has established a practice of spending roughly half of annual donations received on grants, and saving half, with the objective of the fund being capable of financing future grants with fund income.

The AYC Fund has recently supported regatta travel expenses to represent AYC, training events, educational lecture, support for sail training personnel, support boats for the junior program and community outreach.
