AYC Fund Fleet Challenge 2022 – Aug 15 to Sep 5

AYC Fund Fleet Challenge 2022 is online August 15 to September 5.
The Fundraiser is to generate contributions for a great organization that supports sailing activities in the Austin area.  The Fund thanks everyone who has contributed in the past.  Generous contributions have allowed the Fund to provide financial assistance to a number of individuals and organizations this past year.

The Fleet Challenge for this year to raise money for the AYC Fund will kick off on August 15, and will last until September 5.  Due to the large amount of financial assistance that we have provided this year, the need for your continued support is extremely important for the continued success of the Fund.  All contributions are fully tax deductible and will be used solely to fund deserving applicants that represent sailing in the Austin area.  This is one of the few charities that support the activity that we all enjoy, sailing.  
Our plan for this year is to again conduct the fund raising on-line with direct solicitations to potential contributors.  Due to COVID concerns, and the expected extreme heat wave that Austin is experiencing, we have decided to not organize a large one-day Fleet Challenge with specific in-person events.  Instead we will continue the approach of the last two years of having the Fleets compete on-line for the Fleet Challenge trophy (the Bernstein-Brinkman Trophy).
