Big Brothers/Big Sisters Take a Kid Sailing Day After-Party

This is an appreciation ceremony for the sailors, volunteers and organizers of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Take a Kid Sailing Day.

This is an after-party for AYC members (and non-members) who volunteer the entire day in the hot sun to take kids sailing at Windy Point as part of the “Big Brother / Big Sister take a kid sailing” day. The party includes the BB/BS staff members, as well as the AYC members and some non-members, who volunteered either sailing, or on land.

We cook & have a meal and nice party. Everything is subject to current COVID-19 restrictions. The food preparation will be done by a few in the club house and the eating will be outside.

We use south ramp when we come in at the end of the long hot day, and some boats park on the docks overnight, since it has usually been so hot all day.
