Chaparral de Mar Regatta

A Regatta honoring our over 70 year old racing skippers hosted by the Ensign Fleet and using Ensigns fleet boats. Entry fee is donated to AYC Fund. Regatta embedded in Indian Summer series “end of series.”
You’re invited to sail in one of the Austin Yacht Club’s favorite annual events, the Chaparral de Mar Regatta, honoring our senior racing skippers. Competing skippers will be provided with a fully crewed Ensign, rigged and ready to sail. You just step aboard and go race. Competing skippers must be 70 years of age or older, be a member or former member the Austin Yacht Club, or a family member of an active member of the Austin Yacht Club and have previously raced as a skipper.
Our supply of Ensigns is limited and boats will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. A copy of the NOR will be sent to all registered skippers and posted on the AYC website.
