Racing Chalk Talk & Racing Program Town Hall

Dear AYC competitors, We have spent the week with a close eye on this weekends weather forecast as it appears we are once again looking at 105+ degree temperatures with heat indexes entering dangerous territory for outdoor activities.  While I have done everything in my power to deliver a cold front this weekend, my efforts unfortunately failed. Therefore, with great regret, we are once again canceling this weekend’s scheduled series racing due to excessive heat.

However, I invite those of you wanting to come to the clubhouse on Saturday for a chalk talk and discussion with Chris Lewis to join us and enjoy the comfort of our air conditioned club house doing the next best thing to racing sailboats… talking about racing sailboats.

After our discussion with Chris, I would like to host an informal town hall to get feedback from members on how the racing program is going, and what we can do to improve the racing and race management experience at AYC.
