RC Training & Practice Races on Saturday Mornings

Join us for on the water Race Committee Training and Practice Racing in the morning of each Saturday of the Summer Series, 7/16, 7/23, and 8/6. Any AYC boat is invited to participate in morning practice races. To sign up for RC training, send an email to race_commander@austinyachtclub.net. Training is limited to 10 students.
Meet first under the club house for information. There will be on the water RC training covering AYC RC resources, Course selection, RC management, RC equipment, Practical skills: Power boat operation, setting and retrieving marks, course set up, Mark Set Bot (MSB) operation, Sail Bot start timer operation, proper anchoring and anchor retrieval. We will run practice races for fleets wanting to do on the water practice starts. Come on out and beat the heat.
