If you like centerboard sailing, this is the weekend you won’t want to miss.
AYC members AND non-members can all register to race their centerboard boats, beach multi-hulls, and Optis. Want to race but don’t want to bring your boat? There’s a limited number of FJ’s, Lasers, and Opti’s for charter at $30 each. Contact Emily Verdola, email: emily@austinyachtclub.net
Everything you need for a spectacular weekend of racing will be here at AYC. Multiple races both days. FREE breakfast Saturday and Sunday, and FREE lunch on Sunday.
Saturday night the Social Committee is throwing a Chill’ Caribbean Dinner, where you can kick back with live island music from John Skoczen’s One Man Steel Drum Band, rum drinks, beer, wine and a complete menu of Caribbean favorites. This includes Bill Benker’s Jamaica Jerk Chicken, Cuban Coconut Shrimp Sofrito, Caribbean Pork Loin, Rum Cake, and a whole lot more!
It only costs $10 to Chill’ Caribbean—and you don’t have to race to join the dinner! Non-racers (or anyone not purchasing a wristband with registration) check your emails for your evite invitation. You can charge to your AYC account at the dinner. Piece of (rum) cake!
Entry fees for the Regatta are $35/boat for adult skippers, $25/boat for Juniors.
