Scout Troop 5 Sailing Merit Badge/Camp Out. Friday – Sunday.
Activities to be Held: Complete the on-the-water requirements for the Small Boat Sailing Merit Badge. Also provide a sailing/camping experience for Troop 5. Other activities will be scheduled such as canoeing, fishing, sailing on member boats, etc.
A Service project for AYC will also be done.
Event Conflicts: Sat am Opti sailing – coordinated with Emily; Sat Series Racing – will keep clear of racing activities.

Non-AYC Boats: 0. Total Boats: 4. Classes: Picos.

Comments: – use of Picos, Rylander Pavillion & Sail Trn cabin has been coordinated with Sail Training & Emily
– Canoes will launched on N Ramp and will be kept clear of Series Racing activity.
– Scouts will also go sailing on members boats
– Will camp behind Shelter 8, coordinated with B&G. Shelter 8 is reserved for this event
– Non-sailing part of merit badge requirements will be done off-site, prior to event.
– Service Project TBD. Will coordinate with Jeff Sabuda & Tom Cunningham
