Hello, I have the following specific skills: certified scuba diver (PADI Instructor/medic first-aid instructor/dive master/rescue diver/cave diver), ASA 101 basic keelboat instructor, ASA103 cert., I am checked out as AYC Chase Boat driver and have the boating safety course cert., I can also assist members with mast climb needs(I have a repelling system that makes mast climbs very quick and without any assistance from others)
I am interested in learning more about RC (especially how things are run on signal boat), chase boat ops, scoring. Well, end-to-end process really... I am also interested in learning about boat maintenance and repairs.

I have been an active member for 35 years. Past Sail Training Commander, presented and facilitated 1st play yard for children. Presented and started the Children's Christmas Party. Chaired and helped with multiple Woman’s Sailing Camps. Been on B&G too many times to count.
My main interest as far as amenities go is to have the club maintained and bring new changes to upgrade the club with minimal capital expenditures. The pool is a high priority not only for young families but for everyone who wants to escape the heat. There should be significant seating and lounge chairs as well as the decking, tile , plaster should be looked at and possibly replaced.
The club exterior needs to be painted along with all railing and a new lighter color with contrasting railing. I am a designer and am happy to help with this process.
Racing is my other passion and since I have been doing that since I was 11 I am happy to volunteer for camps, sail training
activities. While racing is great, socializing is fun too and as a member of the J80 social committee I would like the opportunity to work with the club social chairs to share some ideas of success.
One social activity that is near and dear to me is family day... which was dropped years back. We picked up those activities a few years back during the Fleet Challenge, Families are very important to the future of this club and the incorporation of fun family weekends.. maybe holidays would be something I would be happy to take the reigns.
